Yu-Wen Huang graduated from Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden (Germany) in 2015 and was awarded the Meisterklassenexamen.

During this period, he studied under pianist Detlef Kaiser and received chamber music instruction from cellist Emil Rovner.

 

As a solo pianist, Huang’s performances have taken him to various places such as Taiwan, Germany, France, Spain, Japan, and more.

In addition to recitals, he has been invited to participate in many concerto performances and earned praise for his outstanding techniques.

 

Konstantin Scherbakov, a renowned pianist, once commented on his playing, stating, “…a talented young musician with keen ears and exceptional skills…”

As a chamber musician, Huang has gained trust from numerous musicians because of his exquisite performances and has thereby received many performance invitations, accumulating a rich repertoire.

 

He is also frequently involved in the production of operas as a piano accompanist. Currently, Huang teaches at National Taiwan University of Arts and Tainan National University of the Arts, and serves as a piano accompanist at National Taiwan University of Arts.
