Chun-Hsin Lee, who hails from Kaohsiung, is a violinist. She completed her Master of Arts (Künstlerische Master) and Doctor of Musical Arts (Konzertexamen) degrees at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin and the Hochschule für Musik Dresden in Germany, respectively, studying under German violinists Michael Vogler and Jörg Fassmann. Her individual performance footprint spans many countries including Russia, Austria, Luxembourg, Spain, Germany, France, Switzerland, Japan, Hong Kong, and
Malaysia. She has a record of performances on international stages such as the Tonhalle Zurich, Auditori Castellon in Spain, and the Leipzig Opera House in Germany.
In her solo and concerto performances, Chun-Hsin Lee has collaborated with groups such as the Spanish Youth Orchestra, the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, the Kaohsiung City Symphony Orchestra, the Taiwan String Orchestra, the Baroque Soloists Ensemble, and the Kaohsiung Teachers’ Orchestra, all receiving unanimous acclaim. She also possesses rich experience in chamber music and large ensembles, having participated in international orchestras and festivals including the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, Landesbühne Sachsen (Dresden), the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra Academy (Munich), and the Luzerne Festival Academy in Switzerland.
In addition to leading the Da Capo Ensemble, Chun-Hsin Lee currently holds teaching positions in the Department of Music at Tainan National University of the Arts, the Music Program at Kaohsiung Senior High School, and the Music Program at Xinxing Junior High School, using her abundant stage experience and passion for teaching to cultivate the next generation of musical talent.
She has released two solo performance albums, Myth and Faust's Fantastic Journey, which showcase her exquisite musical interpretation skills and diverse artistic vision.
