Jiujie JIN, mezzo-soprano, is the PhD of The Chopin University of Music, Poland, China national secondary level actor, associate professor of vocal music and opera department, Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, soloist of China National Opera House, as well as guest singer of many European opera houses.

She is also a member of Chinese Dramatists Association, Beijing Musicians Association, and Western Returned Scholars Association. She was the only student in the Department of vocal music and opera, Central Conservatory of Music, who has been recommended for admission each time from affiliated middle school until the postgraduate study.

Jiujie JIN is very active on the world opera stage, cooperating with many conductors and orchestra both domestic and overseas. The roles she has played include Amnesia of Aida, Azucena of Il Trovatore, Larina of Eugene Onegin, Suzuki in Madama Butterfly, Maddalena in Rigoletto, Flora in La Traviata, Zita in Gianni Schicchi, Marcelina in Le Nozze di Figaro, etc. She has performed in many operas in various European countries, in the venues such as Opera Massy in France, Teatro Cadis in Spain, Palace of Versailles in France, Opera Cairo in Egypt, National Center for Performing Arts, and Central Opera House in China, etc.

 

After graduation, she has held more than 10 recitals in Central Conservatory of Music, Harbin Concert Hall, Beijing Normal University, etc., the repertoire including Schwanengesang of Schubert, lieder of Clara Schumann and Chopin, etc. Many of the pieces were premieres in China. Jiujie JIN has been invited to sing in many live streaming concerts of Italian national television, Schleswig-Holstein music festival in Germany, China Time invited by Hamburg Government, Audition in the Met of the states, She has attended more than 100 concerts organised by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance; She is always invited to sing in the concerts held by the Offices for Cultural Affairs of many Embassies in China.

Jin jiujie had won the special recognition award in Central Conservatory of Music; National scholarship. The opera Eugene Onegin and Aida that she has participated in won twice respectively the performance award of Chinese Opera Festival held by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. She is also winner of the Opera Aria Category, runner-up of the Art Song Category, in International Youth Music Festival, Hong Kong.
